Best I have ever used. Way better than oovoo, tango or skype! Business meeting. Great for appointments, so you can keep on top of you life. I've only used it a few times and when I have it's hit or miss. It's not zoom itself it's me I either get sound or I get picture sometimes I'm lucky to get both.

It's only because I'm not tech savvy I don't use it enough but it is great to have. Sunday I will learn how to use it properly. During lockdown due to COVID my choir met each Thursday on Zoom for choir practice, unfortunately choir member had to be muted because of sound delay, we could only hear our choir leader so you felt that you were singing a duet rather than be part of choir.

Select Continue, then Install. If prompted for an administrator password, enter it now and click Install. Once complete, click close.

Open your Zoom Client app. Find your profile picture in the top right and click on it. If there is an update available, then Zoom will start updating automatically.

Click Done to complete the update. You can change this location by clicking on your profile picture, then Settings. Once open, click on the Recording tab. Select the Location option and select the folder you wish to use. Once you are done, close the settings window.

You have changed the default location. Open your Zoom client app. Click on your profile picture, then click on Settings. Click on the Virtual Background tab.

From here you can select a preinstalled background or upload a picture of your own. Select the background of your choice. Once you have selected your new background, close the menu.

Your background has changed. In order to record with Zoom you must either be the host of the meeting, or you must be granted permission to record by the host. When the call starts, click on the record icon. The recording icon will display. After the meeting has ended a recording will be converted and saved to your folder. Join or host a meeting. Click the Share Screen button found in your meeting controls.

Select Basic, Advanced or File depending on your meeting needs. Other users in the meeting can now see your screen. Once you are finished, click the Stop Share button or leave the meeting to end Screen Sharing. Open the Zoom client app. Then click on the gear located on the right of the screen. If your device supports virtual backgrounds, then click on that option. Select a pre-existing image, or if you have a green screen then select that option.

The Preview screen will display the background. Once you are satisfied you can click Ok and close the menu. Once it has opened, click on the zoom. You can choose what you receive push notifications for, how you want to organize unread messages, disable chat when you're in a meeting, and more. At the top of the screen, you'll see an orange icon titled New Meeting ; you'd select this button if you needed to create a last-minute meeting.

Then, other people who have your personal meeting ID or already have you as a saved contact will be able to join. If you know you'll need to talk face to face with friends or coworkers later on, you can select the Schedule button to set up a meeting at a later date. You can invite whoever you want to be able to join via email or through your Zoom contacts. Ending a Zoom meeting is pretty straightforward, whether you're the host or you're a member of someone else's meeting. If you're the host of the meeting, you'll see two options when you tap the End Meeting button in the bottom right corner: End meeting for all or Leave meeting.

The first option kicks all participants out of the meeting, while the second option lets everyone else stay even though you leave. If you're not the host, but instead an invited member to someone else's Zoom meeting, you'll only see the second option that reads Leave meeting.

Because you're not the host, you don't have the power to end the meeting for everyone. Zoom is completely free to use on your Android phone, though there are a few limitations to the basic free plan Zoom offers. For most people, however, the Basic plan offers everything you'd need and will work perfectly for friends, family, and small groups of coworkers.

With the free Basic plan, you can host up to participants at a time, engage in private and group chats, have as many meetings as you want with a time limit of 40 minutes, and use up to three editable Zoom Whiteboards with 25MB of cloud storage. But as you can see from the above info on the Basic plan, it's more than enough for most people.

It won't SAVE settings. So, I am having to set up video, audio, and my background before each meeting. It won't consistently let me join the video portion of the call. I got locked out of audio on one call, and I had to drop, join again, and drop computer audio. The only waay to get on was to call into the meeting. Don't waste your time with this nonsense. This really is a poor alternative to the Chrome extension that was available. There a key features that aren't available anymore. I used to see a maximum of 16 4x4 but now it's on 9 3x3.

This app is a step backwards!!! I really hope they can fix the new Chrome extension before they phase out the old. I am holding on for dear life to the old version because the new extension is so terrible.

It is actually almost un-useable. As someone who uses zoom regularly for work, I am really really hoping zoom and google can work out a way for the new Chrome extension to be similar to the version on Windows or Mac.
